REAL ID

REAL ID Information

There is a new form of identification you will need to present when traveling domestically. The new identification will require residents to present a REAL ID-compliant document to fly in the U.S. and enter certain federal facilities under federal law. You can get a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or state ID from the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office. Starting Febuary 1st, 2026, if you do not have a REAL ID-compliant ID then you will be charged $45 to verify your ID through the TSA ConfirmID.

What Travelers are Saying!

This is a nice, clean airport. The entrance to the airport, the checking area and the terminal is all very easy to navigate. Although I didn't get to have a drink there was a nice bar that seemed pretty hopping. The waiting area at the gates was comfy with decent wall charging access. Overall, i would fly here again.
